The Tutoring Rocks family is equally passionate about working within our community as we are about providing a superior service to students and families. In fact, Folsom is so much more than a place we work; Folsom is our home. Our founder, Chris Koch, graduated from Folsom High in 2004. After college he returned to Folsom to build a home, family, and eventually Tutoring Rocks. Throughout the years, partnering with local businesses and volunteering at numerous events, the Tutoring Rocks team has found joy in giving back to the community that truly inspired Chris.

When it comes to tutoring in the Folsom area of California, we are proud to say that our roots run deep as we call the city our home. Rest assured that when you opt for tutoring programs from Tutoring Rocks in the Folsom area, you’re working with both tutors and a company that has spent years growing and nurturing development in Folsom. In fact, our founder, Chris Koch, graduated from Folsom High School in 2004, and with that comes a passion across our organization to give back to the community that helped build us. Chris was inspired by his experience in the community and wanted to find a way to give back to those that he cares most about; thus, Tutoring Rocks is here now providing quality tutoring services to Folsom area students at affordable rates.

 

We’ve partnered with a number of local businesses and volunteered at local fundraisers and other events in an effort to raise awareness about the strengths and challenges that Folsom faces. Our tutors understand the in’s and out’s of the local school districts, as well as expectations that come along with exams and academic programs. In many ways, our tutors feel like extensions of the local schools, but remain separate by providing our own unique perspective to tutoring and mentoring that establishes a comfortable, alternative education setting relative to the rest of the school day.
